I don’t know what I did before Catacabana! Nanci is so caring and attentive to my kitty. She takes such good care of him. He thinks he’s gone to a 5-star resort. I feel so comfortable leaving him there when I travel. I know that he is safe and pampered when I’m away.

Nanci was a superb host – 5 stars! Luna settled in quickly, even before we left after dropping her off. From the pics and videos Nanci sent, I could see that Luna bonded with Nanci. She was happy, playful and content. I suspect Luna was in heaven with the picture-window canyon views as well!

The Catacabana was amazing! They were able to take our sweet boy in last minute and treated him with the best of care. They kept us up to date on how he was doing his whole stay and sent plenty of pictures and videos. Would definitely have him stay there again in the future!

There is no-one I trust more with my Nathan than Nanci! Her kindness and caring for each “guest” is so authentic and appreciated! She is so knowledgeable about everything kitty and when your cat visits it’s like they get to go to Disneyland with all of the wonderful toys, attention and affection! Nanci is a true gem.

When my cats are at Catacabana, I know they are being played with, cared for and loved – probably even more than they would be at home! She sends photos, videos and updates so I don’t feel like I’ve missed anything. My cats love all the toys and special perches at Catacabana! And there’s no one I trust more than Nanci with my cats!

Finding Catabana and the owner, Nanci, has brought so much joy and peace of mind for me and my cat. Pepper is a very affectionate and loving kitty, but she can also be easily frightened and a little bit emotionally needy. Having the comfort of bringing Pepper to Catacabana has truly changed my traveling experiences as a pet owner. Nanci is not only extremely reliable and trustworthy, but she cares for Pepper just as much as I do…and she’s pretty much become part of the family! Her home is way more exciting and better equipped to entertain and excite Pepper than my own! Nanci constantly sends picture and video updates to me while I’m away, and I never have to wonder or worry that she’s doing just fine. Pepper does better without other cats so she gets booked a private room, and gets treated like the love bug that she is! I would never hesitate to recommend Catacabana to anyone who is looking for a better option for their cats when traveling!

Cat BNB recommended Nanci at Catacabana to me, and I’m so glad she did! It is very obvious that Nanci really loves cats! The private cat room is a great size for multiple cats, and has large windows that overlook a canyon with lots of stimulation for the kitties as well as sunny spots that my cats love! There’s also many cat beds, cat trees, ledges, perches, couches and chairs for the cats to hide, play, and lounge. My cats were a little shy at first but quickly warmed up to Nanci’s peaceful nature and offerings of treats, churu, pets, and love! The location is also perfect to stop by on the way to and from the San Diego airport. We’re happy to have found Nanci and will definitely be booking Catacabana for our future trips!

I’ve been taking my kitty to Catacabana regularly for at least five years. I picked Catacabana because my cat is bashful and needs a room of his own. Nanci takes great care of him! So good, that I sometimes wonder whether he will want to come home with me. Nanci is terrific with her feline guests, and their owners. I can’t recommend her enough. (I just don’t want her to be so busy that she can’t fit my cat in.)

Hi, I’m Nanci, owner of Catacabana, cat enthusiast and self-proclaimed feline whisperer.
Growing up with cats and fostering them in my spare time has given me a deep understanding of their unique personalities, wants and needs. It’s through fostering that I discovered how important it is to not only provide them love, but also to be attentive to their behavior. At Catacabana, I’ve created a haven where your cat can feel like they’re on a little vacation.
It’s a paradise made just for them with plenty of toys, comfy beds, hidden nooks, and large canyon-view windows for endless visual entertainment. My goal is for you and your cat to feel completely comfortable so that when you head off on your getaway, you can relax knowing your kitty is in safe and experienced hands. Whether your cat is here for a short stay or a more extended retreat, I promise to treat them with the same love and care I give to my own. They’ll be happy, relaxed, and ready for their next adventure when they go home because they are not just guests, they are part of our Catacabana family.
